School Council is an important part of the governance of Bairnsdale West Primary School and is also an important forum to support and develop the direction of our school. The School Council has 2 categories of members - Parent and Staff.
We do encourage parents/carers to consider nominating for our School Council as it is an opportunity to oversee, inform and evaluate the progress of the school. This process occurs at the end of February each year.
School Council meets once per month for 8 meetings a year and the meetings are no longer than 2 hours in duration. If you have any queries or would like to talk more about it please contact the office or one of the Principal team.
